Sunrise Tostada Co. was founded in 2025 by Dillon Caldwell (left) and Nate Naughton (right). Based out of Scottsville, Virginia, the idea was born out a of need to provide good food to a local market in great need of some revitalization.

We were tired of driving 45 minutes to Charlottesville just to get a decent meal. With only a handful of restaurants in the area, and limited delivery options, eating the same food all the time can get boring, very quickly.

After some time, I realized that we could either wait for someone else to bring change into the town, or we could be the agents of change ourselves.

Thus, Sunrise Tostada Co. was born and launched in Q4 of 2025.

Sunrise Tostada is a fusion food concept which blends traditional breakfast food and Mexican food. Known for our signature ‘Dostada’ we layer crispy tostada shells with flavorful meats, farm-fresh eggs, beans, cheeses, and house-made salsas to create unforgettable breakfast and street-food experiences.
